Don't Stop EP by Nu Zau
Nu Zau heads to SiO Records as the UVAR co-founder unveils the four-track Don't Stop EP.

An individual heading up Romania's next wave of exciting talent, Nu Zau is showing exactly why he's an artist at the forefront of the minimal-house landscape. From his early days on labels such as Æternum Music and Memoria to his solo and collaborative productions on his home label UVAR, his growth as an artist to know of has taken him to renowned venues in all corners of the globe. Joining his fellow UVAR co-founder Sepp on the label, the Bucharest-based DJ/producer and label owner head to Joey Daniel's ever-impressing SiO Records imprint this summer as he reveals four crisp, silky original tracks on the label in the form of his "Don't Stop EP."
"Don't Touch" opens the package with a lush and skippy combination of rubbery bass grooves, lively percussion, and hazy chords beneath warped male and female vocals. At the same time, "Laura" is a colorful production as a rich bassline guides playful drum grooves and further vocal murmurs. Next, the excellent "Brain Snow" draws for supple synths and warped melodies for a trippy and cosmic affair before closing the show with the rolling sonics of late-night groover "To Infinity."
