"Far From Home" marked a new chapter for Ladytron following a hiatus which saw half the group move across hemispheres and experiment with solo projects and new collaborations, after five albums and a succession of world tours over the previous ten-year period. Originating in Liverpool, Ladytron, made up of Helen Marnie, Daniel Hunt, Mira Aroyo, and Reuben Wu are renowned for relentlessly pushing boundaries, carving out new sonic and conceptual spaces whilst refusing to abide by any formula or trend.

"Night Versions" sees Ladytron invite remixes from twenty-year-old Brazilian producer Lucas Frota, Shaboom Records' founder Blakkat, Papparazzi Records label owner Dave The Hustler, LA duo Wetworks and Chicago’s Hiroko Yamaura & Eric Elvambuena.

Blakkat is the artist name of Mark Bell, an original member of Mercury prize winner's M People and delivers an effervescent edit of Lucas Frota's remix of "Far From Home" fusing a stabbing bass with rolling organic drums throughout. Young producer Lucas Frota then delivers warm, reverberating low end, angelic pads and shimmering percussion within his remix before Swiss producer, Dave The Hustler who's worked with Cassy, Miss Kittin, Felix The Housecat, and more delivers an infectious remix peppered with cosmic synth waves, acid-tinged shoots, and otherworldly elements.

Wetworks, is the first collaboration between Johnny Love, founder of Los Angeles dark techno weekly event, Soft Leather, and Xavier Swafford of industrial band 3teeth, keep the momentum flowing with raw drum hits, post-punk influenced zaps, and fierce elements until Hiroko Yamamura & Eric Elvambuena's remix rounds things off with euphoric melodies, glistening sonics and alluring vocals gleaming throughout.
