Femur Loveseat by My Favorite Robot
The My Favorite Robot duo is back with Femur Loveseat on their newly launched sister label MFR Red. A rather good way to start off a new label.

The always artful My Favorite Robot label is branching out with a brand-new sister imprint. Entitled MFR Red, it will deal in single track, club focussed releases that place importance on DJ functionality and dance floor impact. The Canadian duo themselves are behind the fantastic first release.
Jared Simms and Voytek Korab make up this Toronto outfit and this is their first release since the excellent Want Some EP in Spring 2017. Known for their emotive, vocal laced tracks that always come resplendent with smart synth work and a timeless feel, this new cut finds them in a more direct and dance floor aligned mood.
The intriguingly entitled "Femur Loveseat" is a crisp and stark electro track. It has shimmering synths laid over the menacing groove and as it wiggles along they morph into pixelated notes that dance round the scale. The result is a track with dark energy and a serene sense of futurism that elevates it above mere tool.
This is a great way to start what is sure to become an essential new label for DJs and dancers alike.
