Funkerman remixes Laid Back - White Horse

1983 was the year that the Danish group Laid Back decided to release the memorable song White Horse. Now 30 years later the Dutch DJ and Producer Funkerman decided to make a new remix of this instant classic hit.

Laid Back are a Danish electronic music duo from Copenhagen, formed in 1979. The duo consists of John Guldberg and Tim Stahl. They are best known for the hits "Sunshine Reggae", "Bakerman" and "White Horse" from 1982 and 1983, respectively.

1983 was the year that the Danish group Laid Back decided to release the memorable song "White Horse". In the U.S., the single was most successful on the dance chart where it spent three weeks at number one. The single also made the top five on the R&B singles chart and peaked at number 26 on the Billboard Hot 100. "Erotic City" by Prince & the Revolution which was released in 1984 as the b-side of "Let's Go Crazy" is heavily indebted to "White Horse" and it has over the years been sampled by various artists.

Now 30 years later the Dutch DJ and Producer Funkerman decided to make a new remix of this instant classic hit. With the essential quirky sounds intact and a funky groove included "White Horse" can only be more classic than it already was.
