Hannah Wants unveils "Ghetto EP" on DFTD, a return to her edgier, bass-heavy roots with two distinct tracks designed for the club. Hannah's trajectory throughout 2023 was signposted by performances at flagship events, including Defected Croatia, Defected's Australasian Tour, and The Warehouse Project.

In 2024, her collaboration with Sam Divine and Jem Cooke, "Cruel Intentions," kicked off the year before Hannah appeared on the ambitious livestream celebrating 25 years of Defected with 25 titan DJs playing B2B in 2024. After a string of releases showcasing her more emotive side on the London house label, Hannah Wants now returns to the bass house sound she helmed for over a decade, releasing "Ghetto EP" on sister label DFTD.

The first of two deeper, headsier cuts, "Ghetto," offers relentless club energy, with deep, percussive synths that hammer away underneath expressive audio sampling. "Let The Beat Talk" follows, featuring frequent Plump Records collaborator Baby Luck on cool vocals. Its hard and tough sound shakes the floor as high-frequency synths bubble overhead.
