Detroit talent Drivetrain is the Soiree label boss, Derrick Thompson. He kicks things off in delicious house style with "Inside You", a primetime floor filler with an encapsulating bass riff and fresh vocal hook that is finished off with excellent keys.

Canadian legend Rennie Foster has been a key player on the scene for years. He comes correct once more with the sultry chords and moody atmospherics of his raw and futuristic jam "Detroit City" which oozes all the soul you would expect, given its title.

Then it is Belgium’s Melodymann, co-founder of the Melodymathics label. His "Nobody Else" is a lively, upbeat house cut with neon chords and nimble bass. Airy vocal stabs bring the funk and make this one a timeless bit of feel-good house.

Finally, Spanish veteran Mark Ryal shows off his 25 years with experience with the excellent "Imperfect Perfection". Elegant and fluid, it's a spaced-out house track of cosmic pads and broken beats that takes you to the edge of the galaxy.

These are four exquisite and impactful house offerings that work both body and soul in equal measure.
