Alvii Ferrer & Mrodriguez unite on Repopulate Mars for the first time with the EP, Jaz Jaz Baby.

Venezuela-born Alvii Ferrer has made a big impact in a short space of time through his fusion of minimal house and techno with Caribbean percussion, finding favor with the likes of Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, and The Martinez Brothers. For this one, Ferrer works alongside fellow Venezuelan producer Mrodriguez across the rip-roaring "Jaz Jaz Baby EP."

Opener "Jaz Jaz Baby" is a silky smooth groove that brings nimble drums and hi-hats together beneath trippy synth sounds and whispered vocals before the superb "Pussy Voice" ups the ante combining punchy drum and bass combinations laced with fiery Spanish vocals and flourishes of organic percussive detail, making it primed and ready for summer deployment. Ferrer goes solo to close out the EP with "House Night," a stripped-back house number with passionate female vox samples, vibrant horns, and raw drums.
