Morocco's Cee ElAssaad links with South African vocalist Bongi Mvuyana for the stunning new Afro house single Njalo on Connected.

Cee ElAssaad takes great inspiration from the exotic plains of his homeland and turns out organic house sounds that brim with a distinctive personality. His mix of house, afrobeat, soul, jazz, and hip-hop has taken him to labels like Ibadan, the top of the Traxsource charts, and now, after a collaboration with acclaimed singer-songwriter Thandi Draai on connected, he is back, this time with Bongi Mvuyana. She draws on soul, jazz, and folk to deliver alternative vocals that have seen her go on to climb African charts. She has worked with a range of renowned producers, clocks up thousands of streams online, and is hotly tipped to become a global star.

The track "Njalo" is an immediately enchanting track thanks to the sublime synths. Their spiritual energy marries with the spine-tingling vocals from Mvuyana. She sings in isiZulu about fighting poverty, hunger, and suffering. The warm drums make for an elegant rhythm sprinkled with percussion and expansive synths. It's a heart-warming track that will also get a dance floor moving. A steamy dub mix and a stripped-back instrumental version are also included.
