Radio Slave presents Wake Up
Radio Slave demand we Wake Up on Rekids this month.

Following the recent "Strobe Queen" and "Wild Life" releases, Radio Slave continues to push against the grain. Revisiting his love of slower tempos and long but engaging arrangements, the Rekids boss further explores his love of House and Disco sounds that proliferated his early work on "Wake Up," a grooving and hypnotic NY-inspired cut.
The latest in a series, my new single is a kaleidoscopic, back to the future, dub disco song about signing music in the music industry, and I guess sometimes we all need to "Wake Up". I've tried to illustrate this with the photo of a plastic dolphin trash can.
Radio Slave
Radio Slave, aka Matt Edwards, is one of dance music's undisputed heavyweights. Having made his name as a DJ in the 90s, he became the king of edits, twisting pop, R&B, and indie cuts into essential versions that consistently set clubs alight. Since the mid-2000s, Edwards' originals have helped define modern dance music, tackling techno, house, breakbeat, minimal, and disco whilst exploring dub, Balearic sounds, and ambient across the myriad of other aliases and projects.
