Shadow Of The Sun EP by Avision

New York techno producer Anthony Cardinale adopts his Avision moniker to drop three peak-time productions on Inmotion Music LTD with Samuel L Session and Roman Lindau providing remixes.

Based in New Jersey, Anthony Cardinale’s recent releases have graced the likes of Matter+ and Mark Broom’s Beardman. Avision represents Cardinale’s harder form of techno and these productions have garnered support from the likes of Ben Sims, Chris Liebing, Nicole Moudaber, Len Faki, Sam Paganini and more. Following on from a release on Matter+, Avision now appears on Inmotion Music LTD with two of techno’s well-respected names.

Dancefloor focused from the off, ‘Shadow Of The Sun’ marches forward with pounding kick drums, metallic stabs and ominous atmospherics. ‘One Hitta’ combines robust percussion with infectious claps and tantalising synths before the more twisted ‘Listen’ concludes the originals with a mesmerising aesthetic. Samuel L Session’s remix of ‘Shadow Of The Sun’ takes a more subtle approach with a streamlined groove and trippy nuances before Roman Lindau reimagines ‘One Hitta’ to create a dark and moody alternative.
