Following a standout year in 2024 that saw his releases dominate BBC Radio 1 airwaves and earn praise from a long list of global heavyweights, Planet X head honcho Ben Sterling kicks off 2025 with his latest single, "The Way I Am." A heavily-requested follow-up to the bold "Born With A Nervous Breakdown," a collaboration with German duo Phantom/Ghost, the production provides yet another example of why Sterling's status as a diverse tastemaker in modern electronic music continues to rise.

"The Way I Am" finds Sterling exploring signature sonic territories yet keeping things fresh. He seamlessly flips and reimagines another beloved classic into a dancefloor-ready anthem. True to his growing sound, the track blends infectious rhythms, hypnotic basslines, and late-night energy, offering nostalgic undertones and forward-thinking production.
