To The Edge by Spencer Parker

Spencer Parker returns to Patrick Topping's Trick with the massive single, To The Edge.

As with most of Parker's output, "To The Edge" is as devastatingly simple as it is effective, with an airtight, pumping groove underpinning an earworm riff and soaring vocal. Paired back and Euro-influenced, "To The Edge" is dancefloor gold from a DJ/Producer who's made his name turning his hand to a myriad of disco, house, and techno styles.

I remember buying Hand's Burn's "Good Shot" at Plastic Fantastic (RIP) in Covent Garden in late 1997. The riff would occasionally pop back into my head as an idea to base something around, but after rediscovering my (battered) copy in 2018, I decided to get in the studio to work on a track straight away.
