A key contributor to Emily Nicoll's Aquaregia, 747, known best for his "Aurora Centralis EP" on the label, now finally reveals the much-anticipated "Veiltail / Stairway" two-tracker, his first release on the imprint since 2021's "While My 303 Gently Weeps."

Opening with the A-side, 747's "Veiltail" explores abyssal depths where distorted, crunchy synths echo like sonar pulses in the darkness. Solacing hymn-like pads gently weave through its otherworldly soundscapes, crafting a tale of introspection and longing and making for the perfect sunrise track, iconically heard in his early-hours set at Germany's Fusion Festival last year.

On the flip, "Stairway" is guided by punchy, broken beats and a minor chord progression, its whining lead extending like a beacon. Beaming lights beckon and call to the skies where euphoric arpeggios await, closing out another excellent release from 747 and making the three-year wait since his last studio work well worthwhile.
