Boys Noize presents ONES and ZEROS

An establishing and evolutionary force of the 21st century underground, German-Iraqi DJ and producer Boys Noize (aka Alex Ridha) unveils ONES and ZEROS [OAZ], an expansive concept label reflecting new modes of creative and subcultural circulation. OAZ spawned its social media presence without any announcement or context, rapidly surpassing 10k followers (and millions of views) through a series of oracular micro-fiction posts that blur the line between present and future. The label's “identity” will finally be revealed when the 22-track compilation Boys Noize presents ONES and ZEROS arrives in 3xLP and digital formats on 21st February. Accompanying limited-run jewellery designed with ALLIGATOR JESUS and Eric Timothy Carlson will follow.

Techno's founders envisioned a world remade by artificial intelligence and automation, and we live in that world today. OAZ carries this hyperstitional project forward, driven by a belief that the most effective way to change the present is by reimagining the future - or many futures - by seeding a new techno-pluriverse. As well as releasing music and objects, OAZ acts as a subcultural server that aggregates and amplifies peers with shared taste and affinities, embracing a multitude of styles from diverse local scenes against the trend of aesthetic universalization and refinement. Unorthodox, positive-sum, and always overclocked, ONES and ZEROS exist as a network connecting software and hardware, the physical and the digital, the local and the global, the now and the next, to free techno from predestination and break open the space of possibility.
