Calle EP by Shermanology

Amsterdam's Shermanology arrives on Repopulate Mars with the Calle EP this spring.

Calle EP by Shermanology Art by Repopulate Mars

Brother/sister duo Andy and Dorothy Sherman have spent the last years rising to the top of the modern house circuit. Combining Dorothy's soulful vocals over Andy's inimitable productions, the duo has attracted the attention of dance music's finest, appearing on labels such as Hot Creations, Sola, and now Repopulate Mars.

Across the three tracks, the duo's talent for crafting addictive vocal house tracks is evident. Bouncing bass lines take front and center on lead track "Calle", which bubble around Dominican songwriter Villanueva's effervescent vocals. "Rain" sees a skipping drum groove pulsing throughout, peppered with smooth vocals and chord licks.

Closing cut "Sunshine" brings the tempo down as swinging 808s and plucky strings form the backdrop for another dose of Dorothy's sublime vocals, rounding off the EP with a surefire summer hit.
