George Z links up with Franco BA once again, this time on South of Saturn for Deep Blue.
Ever since placing third in a worldwide mix competition on YouTube at age 13, George Z has been making moves in electronic music, taking his sounds to labels such as Spinnin', Repopulate Mars, and Glasgow Underground. He has amassed over 7 million streams and 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify through his driving house sonics.
Here, he hooks up with fast-rising Argentinian artist Franco BA, a name that has been turning the heads of DJs from Tiësto to Solomun of late, on South of Saturn for more house heat.
"Deep Blue" is a heads-down, eyes-closed kind of house groove. The drums are taught and tight, laced with chopped-up glitchy electronics and low-end as an angelic female vocal brings some shades of soul to a writhing club track.
