DJ Topgun drops Love Drug EP

DJ Topgun loves to break the rules. The Cleveland native flies through genres in his thrilling DJ sets and productions, combining dance music with alternative rap and hip-hop while also making his mark as a bassist in the LA-based rock band ALEXSUCKS. Following a recent debut appearance on Ultra Records, the budding producer now heads for Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars with the intoxicating "Love Drug EP."

The title cut, "Love Drug," kicks off in raw fashion with frazzled acid lines and stiff tech drums, making for a stark cosmic sound topped with sultry vocals and neon colors. "Poetry" featuring Harmony is a tight, compelling groove with a taught bassline bouncing beneath the stylized female vocals that inject a sleazy edge before "Lethal Candy" opts for heavy low-end paired with future beats and sci-fi synths, and Anna Sofia's hooky vocals adding essential color.
