Don't Call Me Baby by Cyava
The Italian artist Cyava breathes new life into a 90s dancefloor classic to close out November for Lee Foss' label.
Cyava has built on early tips from key players across the house spectrum, proving himself as an artist to keep an eye on with a fruitful release schedule that includes upcoming material on Paco Osuna's Mindshake, Cloonee's Hellbent, Daniel Orpi's Diggin', and Lee Foss's Repopulate Mars. First up, the Famillia Recordings label owner makes his debut outing on the latter with a bumping ode to Madison Avenue's timeless anthem, "Don't Call Me Baby."
Taking on a classic vocal, "Don't Call Me Baby" delivers a zippy and driving groove accented by skippy percussion, snaking basslines, and a mammoth breakdown that will whip dancefloors into a frenzy.
