Born in Cali, Colombia, Jonathan Jaramillo has risen through the ranks of his city’s vibrant electronic music scene, carving out a sound that blends Latin influences with fresh house sounds. His sound, rooted in early 2000s house music and with a deep appreciation for tribal rhythms, has culminated in a production style rich in percussive elements, seamlessly fusing salsa and Latin flavors.
With releases on labels like Nervous, Sticker Music, and others, he now steps things up with an impressive debut on Stacey Pullen’s Blackflag Recordings, presenting his two-track "Good Enough EP."
The title track, featuring Fenky, is a vibrant fusion of intricate percussion and infectious grooves layered with vibrant vocal chops and playful rhythms.
