Indigo Chronicles EP by Romeo Louisa
New generation French talent Romeo Louisa lands on Pont Neuf Records with a four-track EP that brings all kinds of new inventions to house music.

Romeo Louisa hails from the French Riviera and draws inspiration from his environment and musical influences, which include jazz, funk, and soul. A relative newcomer to the house scene, he has studied production in London and collaborated with renowned artists such as Oden & Fatzo, Funk Cartel, and THEOS before releasing on labels including Shall Not Fade and Pont Neuf Records. With this EP, he delivers a unique take on house, transporting listeners to the beautiful South of France.
"Indigo Chronicles" refers to the Blues that rocked my childhood, and which is the founding pillar of all my inspirations as a producer: from jazz, to soul, funk, and house. It's also a tribute to that regenerating blue hour and a sign of an upcoming celebration found in house music.

The EP opens with "For Your Love," a fusion of garage house rhythms and hypnotic jazz chords that evoke the warmth of summer days at Louisa's childhood home on the Riviera. The lush "Move Me" features bouncing organ chords and powerful, soulful vocal samples that reflect the frenetic energy of summer on the South Coast with its bustling streets and vibrant nightlife. "Magnetism" captures the allure of new beginnings and summer romance through jazz-infused keyboards, melodic guitar riffs, and warm basslines to create a nostalgic yet contemporary sound. Lastly, "Can You Feel Me?" is a low-slung and seductive sound with Balearic horns, steamy vocal coos, and jazzy melodies that will prove irresistible to dancers this summer.
