Marc Brauner announces his next album, "Companions," via Houseum Records, having previously dropped his "Sad But Ambitious EP" and "Key To The City" single on the influential French label, as well as a split EP with Ricky Razu. The artist's smooth sounds stretch across house, breakbeat, electro, and more, finding a home on labels such as Shall Not Fade and Happiness Therapy Records.

"Worldwide" kicks the release off with a memorable vocal firmly locked in the spotlight, a tight and subtle electro beat moving the track forwards as the spoken word performance hypes things up. It's a standout track alongside his work with vocalist Fraen Again on melancholic house hit "What's To Come" and frequent collaborator Tender Games, who lends his impassioned voice to jungle-infused garage roller "Birthday."

The LP is an amalgamation of Brauner's different styles and tastes in music, delivering a variety of moods aimed to be companions in daily life. "Pero" adds Latin rhythm to the mix, complemented perfectly by summery synths and tropical stabs, after which the minimal drums and colorful sounds of "Enough" and "Swish" continue with an equally euphoric vibe.

The journey then turns darker with "Dirty," boasting tough electro drums and spaced-out pads alongside distorted vocal samples, turning back to the light with "Alone," where jazzy keys and shuffling breaks work together to create a paradisiacal trip. Near the end, acid-drenched dancefloor cut "Operators" finds itself juxtaposed against chilled-out squelcher "Snowy Plover" before ambient soundscape "Worth Waiting" closes out the LP with Marc Brauner's signature atmospheric flair.

Marc Brauner has experience as a hip-hop producer, performer in percussion bands, and now as a house music producer. His music has taken him around Europe, with gigs in cities like Copenhagen, Paris, and Rome. Besides the club circuit, he's also produced music for fashion brands like Jil Sander and L'oréal and has composed music for various television programs, showcasing his musical diversity across all media.
