Masino presents In My Head EP
Italian mainstay Masino brings his rolling techno to Mind Medizin, and Flug steps up with a potent remix.

Italian artist Masino is the founder of EDMEA Records and has developed his own take on house and techno, appearing on the likes of Analytic Trail, Snatch!, and Phobiq. Thanks to his love of using outboard gear to craft his productions, it all arrives with a uniquely analog sound and has found favor with Radio Slave, Nicole Moudaber, and plenty more.
The opener, "Less Is More," is a perfect example of a stripped-back techno sound that packs a mighty punch with hammering kicks and a reverberating bassline topped with a simple but effective vocal that adds menace. Remixer Flug is one of Argentina's most noted hard techno exports. He layers in rusty hi-hats and twisted synths that weave between the drums to increase tension and edginess.
The fantastic "That's The Way" is cerebral techno that warps space and time with sparse synth pulses and exotic flute motifs. The drums and bass provide a fast and supple undercurrent that motors along in mind-melting fashion, and "In My Head" runs out with a mix of earth-shattering kicks and celestial keys. It's a tribal sound designed for deployment in the dead of night.
