Melt! Festival announces 40 new acts
After the first wave of acts, Melt! Festival brings out the guitars and extends the line-up in Ferropolis with some much-needed rock and roll.

After having announced such indie and alternative acts as Alt-J, Tocotronic or Element of Crime, Melt! Festival underline their love for handmade music, which fits the festival's electronic heartbeat perfectly, with an exclusive show by the legendary shoegaze band Ride, NME Awards winner Jamie T, Django Django, Mogwai's post-rock escapades and Toro Y Moi. Of course, international and national newcomers of the genre like AnnenMayKantereit, Wanda, Catfish and The Bottlemen, Die Nerven, The Districts, Malky and Gengahr have been added too.
The Gemini stage will celebrate a mix of intelligent urban music and future beats this year with acts like Kaytranada, Hudson Mohawke (live), Young Fathers, A-Trak and Odesza alongside already confirmed acts such as Evian Christ, Cashmere Cat or Cakes da Killa. Melt! Festival are also happy to announce one of the most promising pop acts of the year: Years & Years. Big Wheel and Sleepless Floor will see performances and DJ sets by Audion (live), Kink (live), Zenker Brothers, Lawrence, Culoe de Song, Job Jobse or Max Graef (live). Further acts will be announced soon.
Our pre-party at Intro Zelt on Thursday, 16th July 2015 is also taking shape. This year we're kicking off our festival weekend with producer legend Trevor Horn, who is responsible for uberhits like "Video Killed the Radio Star" or "Relax", performing all his classic hits. The disco queens of Hercules and Love Affair, the band Pollyester and Gorgon City have also been added. In the following weeks, we'll complete our pre-party line-up.
