Much To Love by Takiru

Tel Aviv's Takiru joins the Stripped Down Records label for a brand new release that comes with a remix from Jepe.

Whether making indie dance, house, or melodic electronic, Takiru brings his classical piano and guitar skills to his work. His enchanting atmospheres and unique melodies come on labels like Camel Rides and Asymmetric Records and with Mosko and Dor Reuveni he runs the 2030 Music label. Previous tunes have had support from big names like Solomun and Ame and now he comes through with two more gems.

Opener "Much To Love" is a bold and dynamic house cut with elastic bass and slinky drum work. The steamy vocals make for an intimate feel while cosmic sequences and loose percussion all enrich this vibrant groove. Berlin-based, Portuguese-born Jepe has been a scene mainstay for the last 20-plus years with credits on labels like Diynamic, Aeon & Moodmusic. His remix is a punchy affair with crisp tech drums and heavily textured synths that bring a late-night edge to the dance floor.

The second original "We Want" is a more atmospheric cut, with lush breakdowns and crystalline synth textures. The sustained chords soothe the soul and the deep and rubbery drums carry you away on a celestial vibe.
