No More Looking Back by Idris Elba & Inner City featuring Steffanie Christi'an
After featuring on their 2020 album We All Move Together, Idris Elba will be teaming up once again with Inner City to release joint label debut No More Looking Back.

Making for a formidable pairing, the London born-and-bred DJ and actor has forged a rich studio relationship with the legendary Detroit group, fronted by techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson with his son Dantiez as well the latest addition to the group, vocalist Steffanie Christi'an.
With a chugging bassline, expressive piano chords, and soaring pads, Christi'an's velvety vocal brims with soul and emotion on the record. Initially teased on Idris' Defected Virtual Festival set which has been viewed over 1 million times, this sought-after cut's unwavering groove is sure to captivate listeners when dancefloors return.
It's a real buzz working with legends like Inner City, I'm so thankful they collaborated with me on this song. I've played it on both my Defected streams and the response has been overwhelming, it felt right that I partnered with them for the release.
Idris ElbaWorking with Idris here in our studio at the family home was a true pleasure, we hit it off so well and gelled from the get go. Idris came to us with a great idea so we were already inspired and it flowed nicely after discussing ways to develop the track further. We came in and made some additional adjustments to add that Inner City flavour and brought it all together through a harmonious team effort.

Speaking to Mixmag back in October, Idris Elba discussed the collaboration with Inner City on "No More Looking Back", "[The record] was originally going to come out on my label 7Wallace but Defected, they have a real knack for this type of record and they're going to do a really interesting job on how to make this record a classic."
