Ten Fingerz returns to Dealt With Records with another interesting EP called Reflektionz.
After his debut release on Dealt With Records in 2021, which paid tribute to the late José Padilla with the track Café Padilla, Ten Fingerz returns with a new three-track EP titled Reflektionz. Dancefloor maestro Ten Fingerz puts down his mixer and closes the Frappé Records email inbox to focus entirely on creating the hottest new EP for 2024.
The Reflektionz EP is set to ignite dance floors, offering a climax as exhilarating as the New Year's fireworks over Sydney Harbour Bridge. The tracks were created using a variety of techniques, including sampling, analog machines, and plug-ins, reflecting the moods the artist experienced during their production. Each track suits a different moment in a DJ set, serving as a personal reflection on the music Ten Fingerz enjoys producing and performing live at the decks - hence the name of the EP.
"Jen's Dance" is - and let's not get it twisted - euphoric acid house. Feel the religious ecstasy and transition to an altered state of consciousness along the 303 bassline. "Sunny Side Up" embodies contemplative Sunday morning vibes. Deep, techy breaks, ghostly voices permeating the atmosphere, half-memories from last night, and a lazy bass. A groove made through the semi-consciousness of the morning after. "The Wize Breakerz" is a jazzy, funky, and, most importantly, good old-fashioned HOUZE MUSIK. Wordly-wise words about those 'rebels, revolutionaries trailblazers, misfits, pioneers, mavericks, dreamerz'. The track has super smooth, jazzy chords with an accomplished rhythm section of cowbells, handclaps, bongos, and a dusty 4x4.
