Helmed by Michael Weiss, the renowned Manhattan imprint has played host to some of house music’s most legendary names including Masters At Work, Josh Wink, Kerri Chandler, Todd Terry, and Mood II Swing. As a pioneering New York platform the label’s legacy is indisputable, whether with Byron Stingily topping the US Dance charts or Nervous tracks being sampled in major hits by Mariah Carey, New Edition, or George Michael. They now celebrate a quarter of a century with a series of fresh productions.

Leading the pack is Hessle Audio’s Pearson Sound with a remix of Francois K’s Atmospheric Mood mix of Kim English’s ‘Learn 2 Luv’ - it’s an energetic and percussive roller featuring a Reece inspired bassline and synth-driven breakdowns. British nu-disco producer and Shut The Front Door resident Get To Know then provides an uplifting revamp of Byron Stingily’s ‘Stardance’ that’s destined to move any dancefloor it’s dropped upon.

Plastik People Recordings boss Marc Cotterell delivers a remix of Innversion ‘Don’t You Ever Give Up’ that’s best described as a deep slice of vocal house oozing with soul. House then meets hip-hop as Supernova and Black Moon collide on ‘Must Get This’ for a cavernous cut built on rumbling bass and rap vocals.
