Nursery by Gene Farris

Chicago house favorite Gene Farris returns to Toolroom Records with his latest single Nursery in April.

Renowned for his stand-out productions across the house sphere, Chicago's Gene Farris remains at the forefront of the scene with material to date via the likes of Relief, Dirtybird, VIVA Music, and his very own Farris Wheel Recordings supported by names including The Martinez Brothers, Loco Dice and Green Velvet.

Following his recent collaboration "Spirit Of House" with ATFC on the label earlier this year, early-April welcomes a bold return as he touches down on Toolroom Records to deliver his latest single "Nursery".

Opening with cracking snares and sharp hi-hats, "Nursery" reveals a series of acidic tones and warped basslines that go to work amongst Farris' own light and playful vocals, boldly contrasting against the production's darker aesthetics and revealing yet another well-executed house hit from the label favourite.
