Hailing from Spain's historical city of Pamplona, DJ/producer Aitor Astiz is an artist with a stack of unreleased productions in the hands of some of the biggest names in the game - from Jamie Jones and Marco Carola to The Martinez Brothers, Michael Bibi, and Luciano. After taking a brief break following music on Hector Couto's Roush imprint, Astiz is back in style this April as he joins Cloonee's growing Hellbent Records family with a pair of tracks causing a stir in the label boss' sets for the past year.
Fusing driving drums and a rumbling bassline with vibrant Latin lyrics and melodies, "Por Eso Que Me Amas" welcomes an explosion of energy, while "El Perdón" revisits a salsa classic while introducing tough kicks and radiant brass leads to round out another big offering from the Hellbent crew.
