Roberto presents Rings Of Smoke EP

Making his Fachwerk debut and launching their 2014 schedule is Roberto with his ‘Rings of Smoke EP’. Compiled of two new tracks, ‘Rings of Smoke’, which features the sublime vocal talents of Envoy and ‘You Will Rise Again’, its release on 3rd February also includes remixes by Mike Dehnert and Roman Lindau.
 
Roberto is a London based techno producer, DJ and remixer.  Considered to be one of the most exciting new techno artists in recent years, he combines influences from Detroit and underground Dutch techno, to create his own sound unique to the UK.  As a DJ, he brings a special energy to the dancefloor that is the product of many years of dedication to the craft.

Never one to let an audience get bored, his sets explore all angles of techno, which has seen him play at some of the most well respected clubs around the world, including fabric in London and Tresor in Berlin.  With an already impressive discography, Roberto has continued to build his production credits through 2013 with EPs on Artform, Be As One and Affin as well as a host of remixes for artists like Advanced Human, Jamie Anderson, Space DJz, Markus Bohm, and TJ Kong & Eric De Man.
 
Kicking off with the title track, Roberto delivers a deep and passionate techno workout overlaid with the dulcet tones of fellow Londoner, Envoy (Hope Grant).  Particularly known for his own productions on Slam’s Soma Recordings, Envoy’s vocal talents are also second to none, as evident on this latest collaboration.  Next up, ‘You Will Rise Again’ pounds straight into action, with its layered grooves and intense dancefloor beats.
 
To complete the EP Fachwerk’s own Mike Dehnert and Roman Lindau step up to the remix plate with their versions of ‘Rings of Smoke’, with the former delivering a touch of the Chi-town shuffle, while the latter goes for a more minimal, stripped back mover.
