Ryan Resso presents Trip EP

Having co-founded Birmingham-based event series and label WYLD, DJ/producer Ryan Resso is beginning to spread his wings as his profile grows. After releasing material on labels such as Stefano Noferini’s Deeperfect and Kaluki Music, the UK talent now makes his first outing on Revival New York as he serves up his latest single "Trip" - backed by a remix from Tamango chief Yaya who also makes his label debut.
Punchy metallic drums and silky hats build on top of moody low-ends across "Trip", with warped vocal snippets bouncing off funky bass licks for a vibrant title cut. Harnessing the original’s chunky bass, Yaya’s take delves deeper into darker territories, injecting a driving groove to take things into the later hours.
