Making a name for himself as one of Brazil's finest new school musical exports, with credits on Nervous, CUFF, and Cloonee's Hellbent, Lucas Bahr follows up his 2023 "Telephono EP" on Repopulate Mars with his debut solo outing on the label "Sou Ronaldo," pairing club-primed grooves with rattling percussion for pure peak-time pandemonium.
"Sou Ronaldo" is a track that represents a lot to me, as I am very connected to football, and there is nothing more Brazilian than Ronaldo Fenomeno to represent this feeling. The initial idea for the track was to have the lower and slower "Sou Ronaldo" vocal repeating throughout the entire track as if it were a synth with a very minimalist groove.
