Spherax Records presents Fields Of Joy EP

The 53rd release on Spherax Records sees two of Hungary's finest producers making their debut on the label. Chris Drifter and Steve Valentine have been frequent studio partners and have had a huge run of releases recently on Movement Recordings and Chris' own Soundtribe imprint. Chris and Steve have developed a high octane sound that's tailor made for those main rooms and big party moments. Their new EP for Spherax is entitled 'Fields Of Joys' and it comes with three brand new original tracks!

The EP kicks off with the title cut 'Fields Of Joy' which sees Chris and Steve at their absolute best. Crunchy dynamic beats, crisp electronics and lively drums get the energy high straight away. The bass line adds a huge roll and powerful momentum as it gets dropped in amidst a haze of forceful sweeps. The compositions grows and grows as sections of hooky synth lines and acidic warbles tantalize the senses as the track reaches a huge energetic climax. Chris and Steve have become well known over the last year for their tight club friendly compositions and this one is no different, huge dance floor material here.

The second offering entitled 'Fool Faces' delivers more of the same powerful club grooves. Electric synths lines, a plethora of drums along with forceful vocal elements and wicked gates build huge tension before the first kick even drops and when it does expect a huge reaction from your dance floor.

The romping groove flows to a short drop which reveals an attention grabbing sequence of keys which soon gives way for the reappearance of the rocking groove. The hook heavy key sequence weaves its way back into the groove as the track approaches the main drop. The break is short and impactful with a broken beat fill setting the stage for the huge climax which is an assault on the senses with additional vocal snips and super charged synths pushing the energy levels higher and higher! The third and final track sees Chris and Steve teaming up with M8 Project for their 'Reaching Higher' cut.

The energy levels continue at a galloping pace here with rolling rhythms, tough beats and anthemic synths building the framework early on. A more full sounding vocal sample is used here and it comes with a pristine and soulful sound that all main room floors should fall for instantly. The drop focuses on the vocal as it moves to the forefront along with waves of building synths that crescendo perfectly before the driving groove floods back in for a smooth finish. 3 outstanding club cuts to choose from here that should all light up your dance floor with ease!
