Miami-based DJ and producer Zack Darza started out as an instrumentalist in his formative years before moving into dance music. Now, he channels his early influences into his club-ready productions, which have found a home on Hood Politics, Space Yacht, and, of course, North of Neptune.
Following up his 2023 "Rock single on the latter, which picked up widespread support from Gorgon City to Endor to Tommie Sunshine, Darza closes out the year for Lee Foss' North Of Neptune with a beefed-up flip of Kendrick Lamar's chart-topping "Squabble Up."
"Squabble Up" opens with a grooving backdrop of robust stripped-back beats, glitchy synths, and warping FX before a familiar pitched-up sample takes the fore to deliver a trippy Hip-House anthem.
