Two artists amongst Europe's bustling house landscape, Italy's Leonardo Gonnelli and Spain's Bizen Lopez, have been releasing music via leading labels such as Deeperfect, Play It Say It, and MÜSE for years - the latter of whom Lopez now features as an A&R and label manager alongside co-founders Dennis Cruz and Eddy M. Linking up for the first time, the duo now head to SOSA's COCO imprint and deliver a pair of dynamic collaborative cuts across their vibrant two-track "Take A Look" EP.
The title track, "Take A Look," is murky and menacing, combining laser-sharp metallic percussion and heavy low-ends beneath hooky vocals and squelchy synths. At the same time, "Future Voices" brings rolling drums and skippy grooves alongside a rumbling bassline to punctuate proceedings with another no-nonsense effort.
