Turn The Lights On/Raindance by Dor Dekel x Guy Katch

Dor Dekel is one of Tel Aviv's leading talents and, over the last twenty years, has served up superb Afro and tech house sounds that have won support from the likes of Carl Cox and Mark Knight. He has his own Line Out radio show on 100FM and has played cult events like Art Basel in Miami and the legendary Tomorrowland festival. He has worked to great effect with countryman Guy Katch before now on singles like "I Like The Way," and they have cooked up more magic here.

The fantastic "Turn The Lights On" is a fantastically free-flowing and elastic groove with shimmering pads weaving in and out of deep drums. Deft synths are paired with a rising tension that keeps things always on the move, with a spellbinding vocal adding the light up top. Then comes the tropical house heat of "Raindance," a steamy groove with organic percussion and soulful vocal chants. It's a loose-limbed rhythm that's detailed with heartfelt piano chords and will very much carry dance floors away in a trance.
