Twisted with Farzala

London-based DJ/producer and label owner Farzala returns to her Sakti Records imprint this March with her new single, "Twisted." This release marks the second on Sakti following the label's 2024 debut two-tracker, "Don't Stop." It also serves as a relaunch for the imprint, signaling a new chapter for both artist and label. A slew of material is set to drop throughout the year ahead.

Fresh off her recent single, "Smack," on James Dexter's label Inermu, the home of her debut EP, "No Sleep," and her collaboration with Dexter, "People," as part of the imprint's 50th release, the emerging talent continues to prove her versatility as a producer with a slick new production that has already gained support from East End Dubs, Terry Francis, Toman, Mahony, Santé, and more.

My mission is to keep creating music that pushes me artistically. Sakti is a platform for me and other artists with the ethos of timeless music, regardless of trends. Dance music has always been a safe space and happy place of unity for me, and I want to carry that energy through the label and the music.

With "Twisted," Farzala delivers a dynamic and hypnotic blend of warped grooves, merging intricate drum programming, driving low-ends, and trippy vocals to showcase a sound primed for dancefloors, embodying the grit and raw energy that underpins the ethos of her label.
