Closing the year in style after a busy twelve months, UK talent Wheats kept things moving nicely on his blossoming BOX RED imprint with the release of highly-requested cuts "HEADS ROLL" and "LET'S KICK IT" for the sixth installment, with 2023 already talent the project's scope and profile to new levels following the first ever label event on the South Coast.

Welcoming the first guest artist to the label, early May sees Ukranian DJ/producer and multi-label boss Kirik step up and join the label following recent appearances on Vatos Locos, LTF Records, Moan, and DENSER, as he delivers two moody yet playful efforts across his "CHWTSGD EP."

The title cut, "CHWTSGD" is a low-end-heavy yet funky offering as skippy drums, warping basslines, and re-worked hip-hop vocal samples take hold before the warping "CYS" carries on in a similar fashion with rumbling sub-bass accented by emerging lead melodies and further warped vocals.
