Crystal Clear EP by Asadinho

Asadinho is set to join deep house imprint, Love & Other’s fast-expanding release roster this Autumn, with a new single ‘Crystal Clear’ featuring UK vocalist, Natamiq. A smoothly rolling nine minutes of gradually bubbling bliss, ‘Crystal Clear’ is a tripped out journey through warm bass melody, softly padded mids and tinkling orchestral synths.

‘Crystal Clear’ is a track with a definitive message. With lyrics inspired by the widely publicised corruption in Africa’s diamond and mineral mines, Natamiq’s vocal is crisp and refined, and provides a poignant yet sensual overlay for the track’s tantalizing bass hook. As well as the vox version, an instrumental edit is included, a good option for those with less of a penchant for vocals.

The EP’s B-side, ‘Haiku’ was first featured on respected DJ historian and author, Bill Brewster’s After Dark Nightshift compilation, an offshoot of popular mix and party series, Late Night Tales. A bumping, late-night lounge track complete with a jazzfusion sax solo, ‘Haiku’ is a testament to Asadinho’s superior production ability.

Releasing under several production monikers since the nineties, Asadinho has been played on BBC Radio 1, been featured in the pages of Mixmag, and garnered support from impressive industry heavyweights, including Tensnake, Skream, and Seth Troxler.
