Diving EP by Ratier
D-Edge label head Renato Ratier returns with three immersive dance floor tracks on the Diving EP.

Renato Ratier has genuinely shaped and helped define his native Brazilian scene. He heads up the D-Edge label and the world-renowned clubs in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo alongside the more recently launched "Surreal Park" in Brazil's Santa Catarina. As a producer, he has released vital EPs and LPs over the last decade, whilst as a DJ, he is globally recognized for his versatility, delivering sets from house to techno around the world. For his latest release, he explores the mysterious and fascinating world of marine biology with brilliant results.
"Diving" opens the release with a lithe house sound, chord-laced grooves, and irresistible basslines to provide a pent-up party energy, all unfolding in a sophisticated fashion. "Scuba" then follows with a silky electronic house groove that is enriched with warm synth motifs and a rolling bassline.
Plenty of watery sound effects and subtle drum fills bring it to life, while atmospheric vocals add to the vibes. The super "Scuba Diving" hits a little hard, with slapping hits and potent kicks underpinned by a bouncing bassline. Synth stabs pierce the groove like shards of light beaming through the surface of the ocean, and deft melodies add extra subtle details.
