Now, stepping up for his label debut on Pullen's Blackflag Recordings, Farouki unveils his "Freedom To Be EP," a two-track outing brimming with energy, intricate rhythms, and a fusion of old-school and modern influences.

While I was making this EP, I felt complete freedom! I try to play with sounds that have inspired me, and I can say this EP comes from an old-school hip-house flavour with a modern beat. For the B Side titled "Peeple," I had the idea in my head for a long time and just manipulated the vocal sample the way I wanted to hear it. It is definitely an iconic sound that I put my touch on.
