With support from the upper echelons of house music like Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Green Velvet, and Matthias Tanzmann, Detlef is unquestionably one of house music’s most sought after producers. The established artist is well known for releases on labels like Hot Creations, Moon Harbour, and Relief, but his debut appearance on Repopulate Mars with the Beatport chart-topping "Swagon" is arguably his most prolific work having received wide-spread support, notably from the BBC’s Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Danny Howard, and more. After two years he now returns to Lee Foss’ ever-impressive label with two more infectious cuts.
"Music Please" features Detlef’s signature bassline, snappy drums, and cutting vocals to elevate the tension when responding to the percussive energy. "Abnormal" follows by continuing the permeating vibe with tight kicks, tweeting synth stabs, and echoing keys. Both fail-safe numbers, perfect for the next DC-10 session.
