Having appeared on the likes of Material, Snatch!, Kittball and Suara, Marcos Benedetti’s talent as a producer is indisputable - even been tapped to remix the likes of Kerri Chandler and Guy Gerber. It’s therefore unsurprising that Volkoder’s productions have frequented the sets of Jamie Jones, Catz n’ Dogz and Tube & Berger, not to mention Lee Foss who’s now inducting him into his Repopulate Mars roster.
‘Prospective’ immediately builds the energy levels with a popping bass, intoxicating vocals and consuming drum arrangements before ‘For Me’ opens up to echoing soundscapes and emotive vox edits, making it a tune impossible to stand still to. Finally, ‘Fools’ introduces fragmented percussion above a high-octane, pulsating bass line as clanging claps and a looped voice keep listeners locked in.
