Following his 2024 collaboration "Worship Technology" alongside label head honcho Lee Foss and fellow Angeleno TheConnect, California's Skonka readies his first solo release on the unstoppable Repopulate Mars imprint in the form of his club-bothering "Purple City" single.
The irresistible "Purple City" is full flavour house that bubbles with energy as trippy synth details cast a sci-fi feel while the groove brings plenty of swing and raw percussive patterns to keep it powering onwards. A breakdown full of pixelated, video-game-style melodies melts away to nothing before the bass-heavy beats will send the dancefloor into a frenzy.
