Previously appearing on Ame and Dixon's Innervisions, Yoruba Records, MoBlack Records and more, Mike Steva readies his first appearance on Bedouin's Human By Default imprint with the deeply hypnotic ‘Tyre' EP. An artist who celebrates life and dancing within his organic and propulsive compositions, "Tyre" displays Mike Steva's own distinct style within two dense and rich productions.
It's great to be collaborating with Bedouin on this project as I think we both pay homage to our cultures respectively, the message is in the music!

Leading the release, the "Tyre" combines unique sample sources with trippy vocal chops, noisy synth work, and a deep, pulsating low end. "Tribal Salute" follows, bringing skippy percussions, engaging instrumentation and sweeping pads together for a moving B-side to round out the release
