Without That by Halal Sol

Their inaugural release, Without That, produced by Halal Sol and mastered at the Kopi Records Studio in Singapore, will be released in October 2024.

Founded in 2024, Kopi Records is an electronic music label rooted in the authentic cultural landscape of Singapore, led by DJ and producer duo Luca Di Parigi and Bunny Ross. Inspired by the rich traditions of the local coffee (kopi) culture, Kopi Records is dedicated to amplifying the creative talent within Singapore and Southeast Asia's underground scene. Their mission is to cultivate a close-knit community of talented electronic music producers from the region, and leverage strong international partnerships to elevate local voices on a global scale.

Kopi Records is built on the diversity of its founders' international experience. Bunny Ross brings his expertise from previous US-based labels, where he was responsible for notable releases from Adam Collins, Harrison BDP, Christine Benz, and Tondiue, as well as curating events featuring renowned names like Baltra, Lis Sarroca, and Patrice Scott.

With over 10 years of experience as both an artist and entrepreneur, Luca Di Parigi contributes a diverse skill set that helps professionalize and realize the artistic vision of Kopi Records. His expertise enhances the label's operations and supports the growth and development of its artists.

Together, the duo is committed to building a dynamic release operation, offering artists a comprehensive path in production, promotion, networking, and artistic development, all grounded in their knowledge of global underground culture. The Kopi Records studio provides mastering services and production lessons, serving as a one-stop resource for the next generation of the city's talent.

The label will feature a diverse range of electronic music genres, maintaining a rigorous selection process to uphold its high standards. Kopi Records plans to release dedicated artist singles every quarter in an A-side/B-side format, allowing producers to showcase their unique styles and interpretations. Annually, they will compile top tracks into a compilation, featuring original remixes by local and international artists.

The track blends classic house elements with modern flair, while the B-side Speed Additive Mix offers a high-energy, acid-infused rework, embodying the dynamic spirit of Singapore's electronic music scene.
