Morning Cleanser EP by Gil Tamazyan
Gil Tamazyan announces a new EP of jazz and disco-inspired sounds with Morning Cleanser.
Gil Tamazyan is the founder and president of Capsule Labs, a boutique pressing plant, record label, and analog mastering studio in Los Angeles. He has been making cultured sounds for twenty years and does everything from deep house to Italo disco while drawing on a wide range of influences, from the words of jazz, funk, and more.
"Bumper Car Theater" immediately highlights Tamazyan's craftmanship and creates a spacious sonic landscape. A steady bassline anchors the track and ethereal chords drift up top to encourage deep, calm, and mindful introspection. The lush "Morning Cleanser" is the sound of dawn breaking with vibrant chords and infectious beats awakening your soul. A groovy bassline sets the pace for the day, and spirited vocals infuse the track with richer emotions that further stimulate the mind and body.
The superb "My Body" is a sultry exploration of sound and sensation, where smooth keys intertwine with dreamy vocals to bring genuine warmth and intimacy. The rhythmic groove further transports you to a realm of pure musical delight. Last but not least, "News Cast" weaves a tapestry of rhythm and melody over powerful kicks and a punchy bassline. Add the sultry saxophone and a masterfully alluring and atmospheric house cut.
