Infectious rhythm marks "Ancient Ones" by New York duo Street Slang. The pair return to Harry Romero's celebrated Bambossa imprint, following up their 2022 party starter "Cheeba" on the label. "Ancient Ones" gets remixed by Romero, who turns the original's earworm organic percussion and cut-up vocal snippets into a hypnotic and wonky tribal trip.

I've been mentoring these two very talented producers/DJ's Scott and Dominic, AKA StreetSlang, for quite a while now. It's been a huge pleasure watching their sound develop and grow. "Ancient Ones" is one of many dope tracks they've done and I am proud to have them on board once again. Oh... yeah.. and I did a remix.
