The System by Angelos

Long-time connected collaborator Angelos returns to the esteemed connected label to celebrate its 100th release.

The last two years have seen Angelos growing ever more prominent on the international DJ scene and remixing for the likes of Diplo and Da Mike. He has served up some super strong collaborations with the likes of Black Coffee on his Grammy Award-winning album "Subconsciously". Now he takes charge of connected's 100th release, a fine milestone for the label which is right at the cutting edge of the organic and Afro-house scene.

The fantastic "The System" is a hypnotic groove abstraction that brings weighty drums and bold bass to the dance floor. As it unfolds, you are ever more under its spell, with spoken words and fat synth modulations layering in extra emotion. After the epic breakdown, it kicks again with renewed energy and will take the club to another level.
